Kentucky Naturals is a privately owned, family company licensed by the State of Kentucky to produce Extracts from Hemp. We take pride in working with local Industrial Hemp farmers and with their help we are able to offer some of the finest hemp derived products available.  Before the hemp is shipped to us, the farms must have their hemp field tested to verify that they are within specification.  Industrial Hemp is defined as having less than 0.3% THC w/w which is in compliance with the 2014 Farm Bill.

We produce our own Phytocannabinoids (CBD’s) in Raw, Distillate and Isolate form. From those extracts we produce our own Tinctures, Topicals, Supplements and Pet Products under the CoreAlign trademark and we also have product available for wholesale.  Our finished products are less that than 0.3% THC w/w meaning that not only are they compliant, they are non-psychotropic meaning they cannot get you high.

Our team has over 30 years of experience with the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and nutritional supplement markets and we follow Good Manufacturing Practices in our processes and we follow up with Third Party Testing to verify our product quality every step of the way.

Hi, just curious as to what CBD’s are. I thought CBD stood for a single compound Cannabidiol, and that cannabinoids were separate compounds in the hemp plant. If CBD is a single compound, how could it plural? I’m just a bit confused on what the CBD’s stand for on the website and bottle. Thanks.

Hi Jerry that is a great question! You are correct in that CBD is the acronym for Cannabidiol. It is the most popular and plentiful of the over 110 Cannabinoids, or natural compounds, discovered to date in hemp. The term “CBD’s” is often used interchangeably with Cannabinoids as it is on our website and labels. Our tinctures are made with Full Spectrum Oil which contains several Cannabinoids aside from CBD, such as CBG, CBV, etc. Having these Cannabinoids working together provides what is called the “Entourage Effect” because more often than not, these components work better “as a team” than they do apart. Cannabidiol or CBD, the singular, is what you will find in Isolate or product synthesized in a lab in order to remove all other substances. Please let me know if this has answered your question. If not please let us know! Find us on Facebook @KentuckyCBD as well.

      Hi Michele,

Getting the right dose is a matter of trial and error until you find what works for you. Everyone’s body and CBD receptors are different so the best way is to start low and slow, similarly to how a physician starts you on a low dose of a pharmaceutical until it begins working properly. Most people I’m working with who are dealing with arthritis begin with 8 – 10mg per dose.

You can put it into your coffee but make sure you drink it all. Taking CBD sublingually, under the tongue, will help it to enter your bloodstream faster and it won’t have to be processed through your digestive system as it would if you put it into a drink or edible.
